Radium Hot Springs is nothing if not unique; this Village of 800 people is known for experiences that can only be found in Radium. The Home of a Thousand Faces is a landmark visible along highway 93; it was featured on TV’s Weird Homes. Rolf Heer is a local wood carver who gives tours of his home; his wood carvings are truly beautiful. This tour is full of fun surprises: there are goats and souvenirs and lots more but I’m not telling you the secret. Radium is known for the Hot Springs, the Hot Springs Pools are open to the public for only $8. There is a hot pool which is heated by the naturally mineral-rich water and a cold pool for you to cool off. The hot pools are thought to have healing powers.
