Explore British Columbia For Father’s Day
As we slowly start to emerge from the restrictions of COVID-19, this Father’s Day looks a little different than those that have come before it.
A Staycation with True Key Resorts & Hotels
True Key takes the well-being of our guests very seriously and our ultimate goal is to make sure that every guest feels safe and comfortable when staying with us.
All of our properties are operated in small, uncrowded communities in open, natural environments with fresh air and sweeping vistas. Each resort has implemented stringent cleaning procedures to meet or exceed Work Safe BC and Centre for Disease Control protocols.
The uncrowded communities that our resorts and hotels are based in make a perfect getaway for Dad this Father’s Day, whether it’s with family or a few close friends.
A Golf Trip for Father’s Day
Most golf courses around each of our resorts and hotels are open this father’s day, with the rest scheduled to open by the end of the month. Whether you’re choosing to play in the Columbia Valley, Harrison Hot Springs or on Vancouver Island, each of our properties is within driving distance of world-class golf facilities designed by the top golf course architects in the world.
Bighorn Meadows Resort
A few hours drive from Calgary, Bighorn Meadows Resort overlooks the Springs course and is just a few minutes from award-winning golf courses like Copper Point and Greywolf. The area is also home to some hidden gems that offer amazing value like Golden Golf Club and Shadow Creek where you can “tame the monster.”
One weekend is not enough time to play all of the spectacular courses in the Columbia Valley, which gives you the incentive to come back again and again.
Sunrise Ridge Waterfront Resort
Sunrise Ridge is ideally located in Parksville where warm temperatures allow golfers the opportunity to play 365 days a year. This environment allows for immaculate golf courses for both low and high handicappers alike.
Spoil Dad this Father’s Day with a round at one of the two Les Furber designed courses. Fairwinds Golf Course was voted 1999 PGA facility of the year and Morning Star Golf Club has been home to several PGA Canada events. Both will challenge low handicappers while offering surprising birdie opportunities for the weekend hacker.
Olympic View was the first golf course in British Columbia played by Tiger Woods and it’s easy to see why. Golf holes wind their way through rock and valley punctuated by two waterfalls and 12 lakes. Additionally, Sooke is a short 30-minute drive from Bear Mountain, home to two of the most awarded courses in Canada designed by Jack Nicklaus – the Mountain Course and the Valley course.
