Spend some time exploring Canada’s Garden City, where the Inner Harbour, the iconic Fairmont Empress, and the British Columbia Parliament Buildings are all within easy walking distance.

From Victoria, begin the scenic coastal drive west to your first accommodation in Sooke.

Into the Wild — Sooke Peninsula for 2-Nights

Head southwest along the scenic Highway 14, hugging the coastline as urban landscapes give way to rugged oceanfront wilderness. Sooke sits at the edge of the Juan de Fuca Strait and serves as a gateway to some of Vancouver Island’s most breathtaking hiking, wildlife, and marine experiences. Along the way, stop at Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park for a rainforest canyon walk surrounded by towering evergreens. Farewell to the Island

From there, travellers can continue south to Victoria for flights departing from YYJ, or travel to Nanaimo to connect with BC Ferries sailings to Vancouver via Horseshoe Bay or Tsawwassen terminals.
