Michael Anderson

Michael Anderson, President & CEO

Michael is a successful entrepreneur and manager with over 30 years professional business development and management experience.  His career has included condo style resort management, food & beverage business development, full service hotel management, luxury resort condo development and the ongoing management of the True Key family of hotels & resorts. He’s been actively engaged in Western Canadian hospitality markets including Canmore, Kelowna, Osoyoos, Banff, Parksville, Radium Hot Springs, Harrison Hot Springs, Sooke, Nootka Sound and Belize. His primary accountabilities include the development and oversight of the resort rental programs, owner association management and the financial and legal structures of the resorts. Additional accountabilities include consulting developers on legal structure, resort development, corporate structure and strategic operational and financial planning.

Basit Chaudhry, Director of Finance

Basit has proven to be a well-respected leader at True Key and throughout his career, having held many notable positions, including the director of finance and IT support at the Hyatt Regency Calgary, director of finance and business support at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, and assistant director of finance at the Delta Kananaskis Lodge. His career has also included time as an entrepreneur developing and managing his own accounting firm over the past two years. His wealth of experience is a tremendous benefit to True Key, especially as our accounting department evolves and our business needs change.

Trevor Webb, Director of Operations

Trevor’s journey within the company is a testament to his exceptional talent and dedication. He has been an integral part of our team since 2017, most recently serving as the General Manager of Bighorn Meadows Resort. Trevor brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the hospitality sector, making him an ideal fit for the role of Director of Operations with True Key. His ability to lead diverse teams, cultivate strong guest relationships, and implement innovative solutions aligns perfectly with our company’s mission to deliver exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

Katie Wallace, Director of Sales & Marketing

Katie boasts a 12-year tenure at True Key Hotels & Resorts. In her role as the Director of Sales & Marketing, Katie is the driving force behind revenue generation and brand promotion efforts. With a keen eye for market trends and a passion for guest satisfaction, she crafts innovative strategies that not only boost occupancy rates but also enhance the overall guest experience. She is responsible for the development and management of websites, executing advertising campaigns, graphic design and development of promotional materials, online advertising, email marketing, as well as overseeing sales efforts for the properties within the True Key portfolio.

Shrikant Rohamare, Sales Manager

Shrikant is a seasoned hospitality professional with 12+ years experience in the hospitality industry. He comes to True Key after working with brands like Marriot, Wydnham, IHG and his impeccable skill set comes from working at luxury resorts and hotels in India, as well as the United Kingdom and in Ontario. His impressive education experience includes a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management and Catering Technologies as well as a post grad Diploma in Hospitality.

Karina Gaudreau, Human Resources Manager

Karina joined the True Key Hotels & Resorts team in December of 2015.  She boasts 10 years Hospitality and 10 years Oil & Gas experience.  Her primary focuses are on implementing standardized human resource policies, recruitment, employee engagement, payroll and providing human resource support to all True Key managed properties.  Karina has been instrumental in defining, establishing and developing the True Key corporate culture.
